Printers are debatably the hardest working product in the office. It's often a case that there are several people printing to one printer and between the hours of 9am and 5pm the electronic components within the machine are probably glowing red, working to full capacity, at breaking point. If you printer runs on ink cartridges then you are likely to go through a number of cartridges every month.

If you have ever been involved with a company's inventory then you will be aware that there is a large percentage of money that is spent on ink cartridges and replaceable resource every month. Every company's budget is tight within the current credit crisis, so if there is a way to make the budget stretch a bit further then that has got to be beneficial.

It doesn't take long when browsing the internet to find some real budget breaking deals when it comes to ink cartridges. It seems like the industry has really pulled together to make a difference both financially and environmentally.

Recycling is obviously a key issue in the business sector today, the world is eating up the current resources at a fast rate of knots and it is plain to see that we can't keep up our excess in living. So a number of firms are currently offering ink cartridges with a refillable option. The way it basically works is instead of receiving a new cartridge, you receive a sachet of ink which can be easily poured in the empty container with little mess or stress before being placed back into the printer.

Another option is to send your empty ink cartridges back to the company that you are ordering your new cartridge from. Certain firms are offering this as an incentive to people who want to help with recycling, but don't want to mess around with a sachet of ink, or don't feel particularly technically minded.

Some firms are even offering a cash incentive for empty cartridges, which is surely an account managers dream, a way for the company to make more money rather than spend it. A simple look through Google for 'cash for empty ink cartridges' will see a host of companies thrust forward. So what is everyone waiting for? Well unfortunately it is like everything else in life. Unless someone mentions it to you and puts the idea into your mind then it's not something that is likely to feature in your plan for the day ahead at work. Bargains are out there just waiting to be discovered and all you have to do is click a button.
